The Nothing Phone (3) steps into the flagship arena with a bold statement aiming to redefine how users interact with their devices. From its meticulously crafted transparent design to its powerful internal components the Phone (3) embodies Nothing’s philosophy of making tech feel personal again. 


The Evolution of Interaction: Glyph Matrix 

At the heart of Nothing Phone (3)’s unique identity is the all-new Glyph Matrix. Moving beyond the traditional LED strips of its predecessors the Glyph Matrix is a dense cluster of 489 individuality addressable micro LEDs strategically placed in a circular formation on the top right of the transparent back panel. This isn’t just for aesthetics, it's a dynamic programmable visual system designed to provide glanceable information without needing to unlock your device or even look at the screen. 


A Visual Feast: 120Hz Display 

The Nothing Phone (3) boasts a captivating 6.67-inch 1.5K (1260 x 2800 pixels) AMOLED display that delivers an immersive viewing experience. With a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, scrolling, gaming and general navigation are incredibly smooth and fluid. The display supports HDR10+ can reach an impressive 4500 nits of peak brightness, ensuring excellent visibility even under direct sunlight with a typical outdoor brightness of 1600 nits. The inclusion of 2160Hz  PWM dimming helps in reducing eye strain especially in low light conditions. Protection is handled by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on the front Gorilla Glass Victus on the back, providing robust durability. 


Uncompromised Performance: Specifications Under the Hood


Powering the Nothing Phone (3) is the formidable Qualcomm Snapdragon 8's Gen 4 SoC. While not Qualcomm’s absolute top-tier chip the 8’s Gen 4 is part of the flagship series, offering a substantial upgrade in performance compared to previous Nothing phones. This ensures seamless multitasking, demanding gaming and efficient AI processing. 


The device comes with generous memory and storage configurations:

  • 12GB RAM with 256GB storage

  • 16GB RAM with 512GB storage

Both variants utilize LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, guaranteeing lightning-fast app loading and data transfer speeds. 


For photography enthusiasts the Nothing Phone (3) features a versatile triple rear camera system, each boasting a 50-megapixel sensor: 

  • 50MP Main Camera: Equipped with an f/1.68 aperture, a 1/1.3-inch OV50H sensor, and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), it promises stunning detail and clarity in various lighting conditions.

  • 50MP Ultra-wide Camera: With a 114-degree field of view and an f/2.2 aperture, it's perfect for capturing expansive landscapes and group shots.

  • 50MP Periscope Telephoto Camera: A first for Nothing, this lens offers 3x optical zoom with OIS and can achieve up to 60x digital zoom. It also supports close-up macro photography. On the front, a 50-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture ensures high-quality self-portraits and video calls. All cameras support 4K video recording at up to 60 frames per second. The phone also introduces the new TrueLens Engine 4 for advanced image and video processing.


Software and Other Features


The Nothing Phone (3) runs on Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15. Nothing has committed to five years of Android OS updates and seven years of security patches, offering excellent long-term software support. Key software enhancements include:

  • Essential Search: A universal search bar accessible with a swipe up from the home screen, allowing searches across contacts, photos, files and providing instant answers for weather, calendar and local spots. 

  • Flip to Record: A unique feature where long-pressing the Essential Key and turning the phone face down initiates audio recording and transcription, ideal for meetings. 

  • Essential Space: An AI-organized hub for notes, ideas and context acting as a “second brain”.

The Nothing Phone (3) is available in elegant Black and White color options. 

  • The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at ₹79,999.

  • The 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant is priced at ₹89,999.
