Motorola Moto G05 launch in India


Motorola has officially launched the Moto G05 in India bringing a compelling package of features at an incredibly attractive price point. Priced  at just INR 6,999, the Moto G05 aims to capture the attention of budget conscious buyers seeking a reliable and capable smartphone.


Performance and Software 

Under the hood the Moto G05 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme SoC a capable processor designed to deliver smooth performance for everyday tasks and light gaming. The phone ships with Android 15 out of the box ensuring a clean and up to date user experience. Moreover Motorola has committed to providing two years of security updates a significant plus in this price segment.


Display and Design 

The Moto G05 boasts a spacious 6.67 inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and animations. With a peak brightness of 1,000 nits the display remains visible even under bright sunlight. The screen is further protected by Gorilla Glass 3 providing a layer of defence against scratches and drops. 


Camera Capabilities 

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50 MP primary camera on the rear capable of capturing detailed images. While there’s no dedicated ultra-wide or macro lens the single camera setup should be sufficient for most everyday shooting needs. For selfies an 8MP front-facing camera is included.


Battery Life and Charging

Keeping the lights on is a substantial 5,200mAh battery promising ample endurance for even the most demanding users. While the phone supports 18W fast charging the included charger is limited to 10W which could slightly increase charging times.

The Moto G05 is available in two color options: Plum Red and Forest Green. It will be available for purchase through Motorola’s official website, Flipkart and select retail stores starting January 13.
